The Ministry of Economic Affairs, Industrial Development Bureau, is now opening the "APICTA Awards List of Winners in Taiwan" dataset for public use. The Asia-Pacific ICT Alliance Awards (APICTA Awards) is the most influential and prestigious ICT competition in the Asia-Pacific region. Its member economies include 20 countries such as Taiwan, Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, India, Japan, South Korea, Indonesia, Thailand, Macau, Malaysia, Brunei, mainland China, Nepal, Myanmar, Pakistan, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, and Bangladesh. The competition has been held for 15 editions since 2001 and has attracted nearly 100 international judges, 200 competition teams, and over 600 international participants each year. It serves as the best business platform in the Asia-Pacific region. Participating companies can enhance the international visibility of their ICT products from Taiwan, and award-winning companies have more opportunities to obtain orders from Southeast Asian markets. Taiwan has participated in the competition since 2013 and has achieved excellent results every year, establishing a reputation for Taiwan's ICT industry. In line with the government's measures to promote open data, the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Industrial Development Bureau, is now opening the download of the APICTA Awards List of Winners in Taiwan dataset, hoping that domestic companies interested in entering the Southeast Asian market can find potential partners for cooperation. The dataset is open for various uses by the public.
